VISA SUPPORT & VISA REGISTRATION

WE PROVIDE VISA SUPPORT

To obtain entry to Russia, you need to apply for a Russian visa at the nearest Consulate of Russian Federation. The Consulate will have the following requirements from you:

a. An original Tourist VOUCHER from a Russian travel agency (AUTHORISED TRAVEL AGENT) stamped and signed by an authorized person.

b. A standard Tourist Confirmation (in Russian the language) of acceptance from the authorized Russian travel agency, which has been registered with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The confirmation must contain the agencies reference number and registration number.

Authorized travel agents working in cooperation with us can provide TOURIST VISA support for your whole stay in Russia (up to 30 days long). There is a charge of 30 EURO per person for these two documents.

The cost of this service and this amount is required in advance (by bank transfer or by WESTERN UNION), because we have to pay the travel agencies in advance.

For these documents we shell need the following information about all people in your group:

1. SURNAME (FAMILY NAME) please, write your surname separately from your first name
2. FIRST NAME
3. NATIONALITY
4. DATE OF BIRTH
5. PASSPORT NUMBER
6. GENDER (male or female)
7. The dates of your stay in Russia FROM___ TILL_____

VISA REGISTRATION

Before JANUARY 2007, Russian regulations required from foreigners to report to police by themselves about their stay in each destination in Russia (to register their visa in other words). Now that is not the case, in JANUARY 2007, the new immigration rules were introduced.

VISA REGISTRATION which used to be a real headache for foreigners in Russia in previous years, had become very simple now. Since JAN 2007 foreigners are no longer responsible for their visa registrations. Your hosts (hotels & travel agents) are now responsible to report  to police about your stay in each destination. So, forget about it, relax & enjoy your stay in Russia. The information in most guide books about visa registration is already outdated.

HOWEVER, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! Upon checking-in the Russian Federation for more then 3 days, RUSSIAN CUSTOMS OFFICER MUST GIVE YOU A STAMP YOUR MIGRATION CARD. This is supposed to be kept during your entire stay in Russia and will be requested again when you will check-out from Russia.

TO AVOID PROBLEMS DURING YOUR STAY IN RUSSIA PLEASE, FILL OUT YOUR MIGRATION CARD WHEN YOU WILL BE CHECKING-IN RUSSIA AND DEMAND FROM THE OFFICER TO PUT THIS STAMP ON YOUR MIGRATION CARD!!! (Sometimes Russian border control officers do not do their job properly and forget to give the migration card or to put a seal on it).
